How it all began:
It was a late-night Skype call in the Stupid O’ Clock megachat.
Nick linked a picture, entitled “Barb Over Walmart”. RJ, stricken with amazement, decided to investigate into the site it was posted on. The Flint Lensman Camera Club turned out to be quite a beautiful establishment, a website full of Web 1.0 GIFs and a particularly inspiring letter from the club president. At the bottom of the home page is a list of the subjects for their upcoming photography competitions this year. Among the subjects listed are such things as “naturally lighted night scenes”, “antiques”, farms, and most perplexingly, “Greg’s truck”.
Upon seeing this, we began extrapolating as to what Greg’s Truck could possibly be, and what implications it may have. We began scouring Google Images for photographs of Greg’s Truck, and came upon many gems, such as photographs of a small child, two photographs of Greg’s Truck sinking into the water, and a man who looks suspiciously like Plazmataz.
From there, Shoona began drawing fan art. Nick composed the Greg’s Truck Theme Song, and RJ, Nick, Rachel, and Mark decided to create one or more concept albums based on Greg’s Truck. You should expect this to be released on gregstruck.bandcamp.com.
